iI recently called the Sunbeam service center and they told me they are making new baskets to resolve the overflow problem, and will send anyone one for free. I am personally getting a new coffee maker all togther because iI told them I felt mine was a fire hazard due to the fact that it had flooded itself and sat in the overflow water too many times. I had no problem getting them to give me a # for a free new machine, maybe you can all try this also, the Sunbeam phone # is in your users manual
