You really should be able to pick up the # 4 cone type filters at almost any supermarket or grocery store. They are very common and are used in many different cone type coffee makers. It seems most North American manufacturers produce coffeemakers with "flat bottom" baskets and most European makers have "cone filters" The cone filter makes a stronger more robust cup using less coffee and more manufacturers are producing this type of coffeemaker so these filters should become even more available.
